Notification to set up a Rutgers Faculty member will come from a representative from Rutgers.
The representative is currently Tara Wuorinen and her e-mail address is twuorinen@docs.rutgers.edu.
1. In Active Directory – ccm.edu
- Click on the drop-down arrow next to Academic Affairs
- Click on Rutgers
2. Click on “Create a new user in current container.”
3. Enter the following:
- First name:
- Last name:
- User logon name: (logon name is FirstInitialLastName, all lower case)
- Click Next
e. Enter the CCM temporary password. (ccmP………..)
f. Confirm the CCM temporary password.
g. Make sure “User must change password at next login” is checked.
h. Click Next
- Click Finish
4. In Active Directory, open the new account that was created.
- In the Description box type: Rutgers Faculty
- In the E-mail: box: type in their Rutgers e-mail address
- Click Apply
5. Click on the Member Of tab.
- Add the user to the following groups:
- Rutgers distribution group
- RutgersVDIAccess
- Click Apply
- Click OK
6. Reply with the following to the Rutgers requester (see ticket 46431):
An account has been set up for <individual(s) names>:
Username: FirstInitialLastName@ccm.edu (all lower case. example: John Smith - jsmith@ccm.edu)
Password: (CCM temporary password)
Once they login they will be prompted to change their password.
