These instructions will explain how to upload Faculty, Staff, and Students into Blackboard.



1.  Open the Notepad file:  createstudent2


For Faculty and Staff:


external_person_key,user_id,lastname,firstname,email,passwd,student_id

0123456,csmith,Smith,Cooper,csmith@ccm.edu,ccm0123456,0123456


For Students:


external_person_key,user_id,lastname,firstname,email,passwd,student_id

0123456,smith.cooper,Smith,Cooper,smith.cooper@student.ccm.edu,ccm0123456,0123456


Click File

Click Save


2.  In Blackboard Administrator Panel

  1.  Click on Data Integration
  2.  Click on Student Information System Integrations
    1.  Click on the drop down arrow next to Create Users
    2.  Select Upload a Feed File
    3.  Click Browse
      1. Select the createstudent2 file
      2. Data Type
        1. Select Person 
        2. Click Submit
